  • Community Challenges

Throughout the year Pursue Wilderness has some challenges and gatherings to build community and to get us outdoors.

Each January we have a 30 Days, 30 Minutes ourdoor challenge. In October we hiked 30 miles. This February we are hosting our first 5 Mile Virtual Hike.

To know when these things are taking place make sure to follow Pursue Wilderness on Facebook and Instagram.

  • Shared Experiences

The outdoors can be a place to quietly charge your own batteriers or to create a shared experience with others. Since its start Pursue Wilderness has encouraged you to do both.

You don’t have to be a wilderness adventure guide to lead your family or friends on a day hike, a kayak trip or go camping. You just have to put it on the calendar and make it happen. The Lord will take care of the rest.

If you do go out on a trail, the water, camping or any other outdoor activity with some family and friends send us an email with the pictures and/or video of you and your group and in return you will get a couple Pursue Wilderness decals in the mail.

  • Weekly Resources

On Wednesday’s and Friday’s you will find a free Pursue Wilderness resource posted on our Facebook and Instagram page.

The Wednesday resource is designed for thsoe times when you are away from home but are looking to make a relational and spiritual connect with the people with you. The Friday resource is designed when things slow down and you are sitting around a fire just relaxing and catching up. I

know one of the reasons for going out into the wilderness, woods, or on the water is to get away from your phone and technology but if you do take it with you consider taking the Pursue Wilderness resource with you.
