I am "Car Impaired."
I can pump gas, maybe change the windshield wipers and refill the washer fluid- that is about it.
So when I have to get work done on my car I am completely out of my element and a bit skeptical.
This is how people feel when they walk into church for the first time in years, if not ever.

There is a reason why the Great Commission tells us to "Go" and not "Sit and Wait." At the heart of the Gospel it is about us sharing what Jesus has done and investing in the lives of others through evangelism and discipleship.
Everyone wants to matter and believe their life has meaning. We all want to belong and be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
As Christians we have a non-negotiable responsibility to make sure to let people know they matter and their life has meaning in Jesus.

We hear a lot of talk about leadership in our culture and churches. Many Christian conferences focus on the leadership aspect of the Christian- because it is popular and we hunger to have a platform and influence.
Then we stand shocked when we hear about another "leader" falling because of moral failure, lawsuits, or questioning their faith.
You know who doesn't question their faith? Those who make disciples, who take the Gospel to those who have not heard it or who make a practice of washing the feet of others.
If you want to be great, make God's name great then He will take care of the results.
